- Free gondola to downtown Telluride from Mountain Village. It typically closes mid-October and reopens around Thanksgiving. Confirm current dates before you plan dinner in town.
Mountain Village and town
Two great places, for different reasons.
Mountain Village sits in the middle of the skiing and the hiking. Clip in at the tunnel. Walk onto Prospect Trail and Village Trail from the door. When you want Main Street, restaurants, or a night out, the free gondola and Dial-a-Ride get you to town and back. Downtown Telluride is excellent for that. This address is excellent for being on the mountain.
